Camping is available at a number of campsites in the area. Shuttle service is not available at all campgrounds. See below for details.

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is teaming up with Thunder Mountain Campground and Holston River Brewing Company to provide a premium camping experience for festivarians. Located near Bristol Motor Speedway, Thunder Mountain offers an on-site brewery, exclusive campground shuttle service to and from festival, and live music after-hours. 

Hardy & The Hardknocks and Elliot Root join the collassal lineup as “off campus Alumni” of the three-day event; it’s all part of the premium camping package experience offered by Bristol Rhythm, Holston River Brewing Company and Thunder Mountain Campground. T. Hardy Morris & The Hardknocks will perform on Friday, Elliot Root on Saturday. Both concerts happen late night at 12:30 a.m. after the last notes are played at Bristol Rhythm each night. Tickets for Up Late at Holston River Brewing Company After Shows are $10 per show.

From primitive tent camping to luxury RVs, there’s a package for everyone. Print at home camping packages, Xtra Happy Camper Passes, and passes to late night shows at Holston River Brewer sold exclusively online. Does not include festival wristband, but save on processing fees in a single purchase. Festival shuttle bus also stops at this location; passes sold separately. Processing fees apply. Parking for festival goers who want to carpool also provided, replacing parking at Earhart Campground.

TENT CAMPING PACKAGE  $80 
4 nights: Thursday-Monday check-out, exclusive shuttle bus from campsite (schedule applies), 2 wristbands for each late night show (1am-3am), use of shower house and running water toilets. Package is for up to (2) people in camping party. Extra campers in camping party? Purchase an Xtra Happy Camper Pass for $20 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

POP UP CAMPING/CAMPER  $120
4 nights: Thursday-Monday check-out, exclusive shuttle bus from campsite (schedule applies), 2 wristbands for each late night show (1am-3am), use of shower house and running water toilets. Package is for up to (2) people in camping party. Extra campers in camping party? Purchase an Xtra Happy Camper Pass for $20 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

GOLD CAMPER/RV $195
Hook up to our water and electricity, 4 nights: Thursday-Monday check-out, exclusive shuttle bus from campsite (schedule applies), 2 wristbands to each late night show (1am-3am), use of shower house and running water toilets. PLATINUM RV/CAMPING $220

XTRA HAPPY CAMPER PASS $20
All Tent, Pop Up, Gold and Platinum RV packages include admission for (2) two at each campsite. The Xtra Happy Camper Pass covers campers who are traveling with Thunder Mountain Camping Package holders. Xtra Happy Campers ages 13 and over require a pass. Children 12 and under are free and do not require wristbands. Exchange print-at-home tickets at campground.

Earhart Campground 
All camping, shuttles, and parking have moved next door to Thunder Valley Campground. See above for info.

Shadrack Campground on Volunteer Parkway (6.18 miles) offers both RV and primitive tent camping. $15 tent, $25 water/electric and water/electric/sewer. All plus tax. E-mail albert@shadrack.com. Shadrack Campground campers will need to hop on the shuttle at Thunder Mountain Campground/Holston River Brewing Co. just down the street.


Sugar Hollow Park off I-81 Exit 7 (5.9 mi) provides RV and primitive tent camping. Restrooms are available, but no electricity. $12/night.   Email bpr@bristolva.org for more info.  The city of Bristol, VA will offer shuttle service to and from the site during the festival for $5 per trip.

Lakeview RV Park
Lakeview RV Park on Highway 11-E (14.0 mi) offers a beautiful setting overlooking Boone Lake. Lake recreation, cable, bath house, private restrooms, laundry, WiFi and campground store with coffee bar and internet cafe.  Campers can catch the shuttle to to the festival at Thunder Mountain Campground/Holston River Brewing Co., 3 miles from Lakeview.For questions, call 866 800-0777 or 423 538-5600.
