Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion partners with a number of organizations all year long to bring FREE quality, live music entertainment to the masses throughout the region. The Crooked Roots Music Festival is our newest franchise, taking place at the new Big Glades Community Square in Wise, Virginia on August 20th.
Crooked Roots
A number of talented acts are slated for Crooked Roots, each will also play at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion 2011. William Wampler & Co., James Justin & Co., Ian Gilliam & The FireKings, and If Birds Could Fly will take the stage on East Main Street from 4-10pm.
Bristol Border Bash
Known as a mini-BRRR, Border Bash takes place the first and third Friday of the month from May to August on State Street in historic Downtown Bristol. The City of Bristol, Tennessee, the City of Bristol, Virginia, Believe in Bristol, and The Birthplace of Country Music Alliance host the event with The Reunion and it’s free of charge. Besides awesome live music, vendors and kid activities line one block of State Street for each event.
BRRR also partners with the University of Virginia’s College at Wise to host a number of free concerts on campus earlier in the year. Check back here for updates, we’ll post as soon as details are solid!
