Catching Up With Andy Thacker

The Rhythm & Roots Reunion got its first taste of Andy Thacker's mandolin wizardry back in 2006, when he and the rest of his mates in Peyton Tochterman & High Society played for a live WCYB shot on State Street. After heating up the inaugural midnight jam that year and returning with High Society in 2007, Thacker is coming to Bristol in 2008 with a new band, Sawyer Hollow. Thacker is joined in Sawyer Hollow by Nick Reeb on fiddle, Jake Hopping on bass, and Ryan McGiver on guitar. Born from the thriving Charlottesville, Virginia, music scene, Sawyer Hollow promises to be one of the most exciting young bands in Bristol this year.
