
Q: Where exactly is the festival held?
A: Four blocks of historic downtown Bristol Tennessee/Virginia are closed off to traffic
during the 3-day festival. Fans literally are stepping into/out of Tennessee and Virginia as
they enjoy the festival.
Q: How many stages are there?
A: Three outdoor, one dance tent and 16 indoor stages, with music at each throughout
the weekend.
Q: Are children admitted free:
A: Children ages 12 and younger are admitted free-of-charge.
Q: Is Saturday morning Children’s Day activities free:
A: Children’s Day is free to children and their families. This event occurs in the 800
block of downtown.
Q: Do I need to bring my own chair?
A: The indoor venues have seating. The 3 outdoor stages have a limited number of
chairs set-up permanently throughout the festival. Festival goers are welcome to bring
their own chairs for use at the outdoor stages.
Q: What is the festival smoking policy?
A: All seating and concert areas are designated NON-SMOKING.
Q: Is parking free?
A: Yes. Free parking is available within a 4-6 block radius on both sides of downtown.
However, there are some business that do charge parking.
Q: Is there shuttle service?
A: Yes. Free shuttle service runs hourly to/from the local host hotels and several
other locations. Hours of service and designated stops are listed on the website.
Q: Is there Handicap Parking?
A: Yes. Handicap Parking areas are marked on the festival map.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: No. Only certified service dogs are admitted. If a pet owner chooses to bring their pet, it will be necessary to purchase a full-price admission ticket in order for your pet to be allowed into the festival.
Q: Can I bring a cooler?
A: No. Coolers are not permitted within the festival area.
Q: Are there places to eat in the downtown?
A: Yes. There is a festival food-court and nearly a dozen local restaurants where quality
foods of every variety are available.
Q: What is the festival policy on alcoholic beverages:
A: Alcoholic beverages are served only in licensed businesses and are not permitted outside
these designated areas.
Q: Is there shopping in the downtown during the festival?
A: Yes. Festival craft booths are a part of the festival. Also, downtown businesses are
open all weekend, offering antiques, clothing, fabric, and eclectic merchandise.
Q: What is the rainy day policy?
A: The festival is held rain or shine.
Q: Are Port-A-Lets available:
A: Yes. Portable toilets are set-up in designated areas shown on the festival map.
