BRRR wants your artwork to be our 2012 Annual Poster!

Each year the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion annual poster artwork becomes an item for collectors and festival enthusiasts alike. In fact, the posters are in such high demand that many of them are completely out of print. Renowned artists such as P. Buckley MossCharles Vess and April Street have all contributed their talents for the annual poster; you could add your name to this distinguished list by entering your artwork in our BRRR 2012 Annual Poster Art Competition.

The deadline for entry is Friday, February 17, 2012 at 5pm. Any submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.   There is no fee to enter.

Renowned artist P. Buckley Moss lent her talents to BRRR for “Music On State Street” and “Jammin’ On Piedmont”. A third depicting the famed Country Music Mural Stage will is due out in late 2012.  Giclee and fine art prints of Moss’ work are sold as a fundraiser for the festival, and Moss allowed The Reunion to use it for our promotional poster in 2011.

One of America’s most prized living artists, P. Buckley Moss’ work is featured in more than 200 galleries worldwide. Donations from her artwork has raised millions of dollars for a number of charities and non-profit organizations. The P. Buckley Moss Foundation for Children’s Education is devoted to promoting the use of art in the classroom–especially as a means to teach children with learning differences.  Diagnosed with dislexia at a young age, Moss herself lives by example–a winning success story.

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is honored and thrilled to have P. Buckley Moss represent the festival with her signature style. BRRR collectors tell us her interpretation of the festival is among their most treasured!

Sorry Folks!  2011′s festival poster, “Music on State Street” is completely SOLD OUT.  But other BRRR Annual Posters are still available here at our online store and at the festival office.

Fine art and giclee prints of the orginal “Music On State Street” and “Jammin’ On Piedmont” are also available.  We have a few at the festival office or you can contact Up Against The Wall Gallery in Kingsport, TN at 423-246-7210.  They are an official dealer in Moss prints and have a treasure trove of her other work in their shop–framed and signed!
