Vendor Festival Rules

VENDOR FESTIVAL RULES

1. Vendors must set up on Friday September 18 at the prescribed time. Only in cases of an emergency will you be allowed to set up late or leave early.

2. Any vendor who leaves the festival early without permission from the Craft and Concession Chairman will be permanently barred from the festival.

3. If you are a craft vendor you are not allowed to sell any site prepared food items.

4. Craft vendors cannot sell any type of soft drinks. This includes tea, coffee, lemonade, sports drinks, bottled water, and sodas. Any craft vendor caught selling soft drinks will be asked to leave the festival immediately.

5. Food vendors may only sell soft drinks that are purchased from the Rhythm and Roots Festival. PLEASE DO NOT BRING SOFT DRINKS WITH YOU TO THE FESTIVAL. Any food vendor caught selling soft drinks not purchased from the festival will be asked to leave the festival. We do this because soft drinks are our fundraiser.

6. Food vendors cannot sell hot dogs. This is also our fundraiser.

7. Ice is to be purchased from Rhythm and Roots.

8. No campers or supply trucks will be allowed to park on State Street. A vendor parking area is provided. See map. ALL vehicles are to be off State Street by 3:00 P.M.

9. Vendors can only sell items listed on their application. Do not bring anything else. This will be closely monitored and enforced.

10. Make sure that you list all of the equipment that you are going to use on your application. We must know for logistic purposes.

11. Spaces cannot be reassigned after you arrive at the festival.

12. No generators, loud horns, speakers, microphones, yelling, or other noises that might offend other vendors around your location or that would interfere with the performers are allowed. Jamming with acoustic instruments is permitted on sidewalks and in doorways.

13. All signs and banners are to be confined to your area. Spaces are ten feet wide. Don’t let your display come out into the street so as to block the access of emergency vehicles.

14. All food vendors are required to redeem two coupons per day from Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion as part of their space fee. Each food vendor will receive a sample of the coupon to be used with their acceptance letter.

15. VENDOR PASSES DO NOT ALLOW YOU IN THE CONCERT AREAS.
